Cosber Plate Brake Tester

The Cosber C-BTP 10 is a 3.5 ton plate brake tester gazetted by NZTA for WOF inspections and is able to be mounted onto a suitable workshop floor without any construction work. 

Particularly suited for leased buildings, the only work required is the provision of a suitable power supply and a location for mounting the monitor. 

Workshop placement options are increased as with a height of only 25mm and a drive over weight of 4.0 ton it can be driven over or across, placed near busy access ways and is able to test the lowest sports cars on the road. The tester has two installation options - for a minimum track width of 850mm or 1000mm depending on vehicle type.

Made by Cosber in Germany for the European market provides an assurance of quality as the tester is manufactured for the strictest testing markets in the world. The plate tester comes with the same patented corundum grip surface of its roller brake peers providing a high wear high grip surface coating.
