Suspension and wheel alignment work: Radar and camera angles are geometry dependent. Any axle, chassis, or alignment adjustment means the ADAS system must be recalibrated to OEM specification.
Accident damage repair: Sensors are displaced or replaced in collisions. Insurers and OEMs require verified calibration before return to service.
Sensor or camera replacement: Any replacement of a radar unit, camera, or ECU triggers a recalibration requirement under manufacturer specifications. Each of these events is a chargeable calibration job. Without in house capability, your need to shop the work out, losing the revenue, the workshop time, and potentially the customer. Jaltest ADAS keeps every one of those jobs in-house.
ADAS Diagnostics and Repairs: Calibration after any of the above scenarios is necessary and while Jaltest makes that easy, often there is another work stream behind a successful calibration - the diagnosis and repair of sensors, actuators wiring and connectors.
