What's the difference between a $75 OBD2 code reader and a workshop scan tool?

A basic OBD2 reader only reads and clears engine fault codes. A workshop scan tool covers every system, including ABS, airbags, transmission and body modules. It can also run bi-directional tests, code injectors and keys, do service resets, and graph live data. On top of that, it's kept current with software updates and backed by technical support.
