The STT 30 (13 ton) and STT45 (18 ton) heavy vehicle roller brake testing machines (RBM's) require a load simulation capability to meet the NZ Heavy Vehicle brake test Protocol. 

The load simulation aspect is to ensure brakes are tested with the vehicle loaded and real brake efficiency can be found. Any approved load simulation kit (LSK) must be capable of simulating a minimum 65% of the RBMs maximum axle weight. 

AECS Equipment's Cosber Heavy Vehicle RBMs are 13 ton and 18 ton testers respectively. Further, each model is available with or without a built in roller bed lift kit. 

A fixed bed roller RBM requires hydraulic pull down capability while the lift bed roller RBM requires a hold down capability. 

13 ton and 18 ton LSK's are available for both the fixed bed and lift bed models respectively:

• The LSK 10000 is a 10 ton capacity hydraulic pull down LSK for the STT 30, 13 ton RBM.
• The LSK LB 10000 is a 10 ton capacity hold down LSK for the STT30, 13 ton lift bed RBM
• The LSK 14000 is a 14 ton capacity hydraulic pull down LSK for the STT 45, 18 ton RBM
• The LSK LB 14000 is a 14 ton capacity hold down LSK for the STT45, 18 ton lift bed RBM

All models are custom built for any length rail based on pit size and customer need. Base pricing is for a standard rail size of 7 metres.
